About Us
Sea Glass Business Solutions began the way many good things do — quietly, organically, and long before it had an official name. For years, I found myself supporting friends, peers, and colleagues with the parts of business that often create the biggest headaches: organizing systems, building websites, planning events, managing projects, or simply helping people bring structure to their ideas.
When I moved to South Carolina, I took a step back and realized just how much of my life had naturally led me toward this work. I was already consulting without calling it consulting. People trusted me because I understood what it meant to be in the trenches with them — running lessons in unpredictable weather, working on construction job sites to catch up, adapting to the ever-changing needs of nonprofits, and doing whatever it took to keep a business afloat.
Early on I saw how often small business owners — especially farmers, horse professionals, tradespeople, and nonprofit teams — were given complicated advice or expensive solutions that didn’t actually fit their world. I wanted to create a place where people felt respected, heard, and supported with practical, down-to-earth guidance they could trust.
Our approach is simple:
Real conversations. Practical solutions. A partnership built on long-term trust.
That philosophy flows into the name Sea Glass. I chose this name because sea glass becomes beautiful through time, pressure, and persistence — the very same way strong, sustainable businesses are shaped. Sea glass is also transparent allowing the viewer, to see it's integrity under light. It’s a reminder that refinement isn’t instant; it’s a process. And we’re here to help you through it with clarity and confidence.
About Anna
Hello and welcome,
You’ve read about how SGBS came to be, but I believe in knowing people on a first-name basis, so I wanted to share a bit more about myself.
My path into this work has been anything but traditional — which is exactly why I connect so well with the people I serve.
I started my first business at 17: a small horse training and lesson operation with just a handful of clients. Before long, that small beginning grew into 20+ students, a barn full of horses, and a crash course in scheduling, client communication, finances, marketing, and being endlessly adaptable.
When COVID slowed the horse world, I shifted into what I thought would be a temporary admin role for a construction company. Instead, I found myself helping build that company from one person and a few unreliable subs into multiple crews and more than twenty consistent subcontractors. We grew from small handyman jobs to full-scale renovations — and my work extended beyond the office working and learning right alongside some of the Midwest's most talented tradesmen (though my drywall installation days are officially behind me).
Since then, I’ve supported horse breed associations, lawn care companies, construction teams, exterior service providers, and countless nonprofits with project management, fundraising, operations, strategic planning, and organizational development. Every partnership came through referral, which still means the world to me.
People often tell me I have a knack for making complicated things feel simple — and that’s what I strive to bring to every client relationship.
Running a business is hard. You should never feel like you’re doing it alone.
When I’m not helping businesses grow, you can find me outside riding horses, gardening, cooking, or elbow-deep in our latest home renovation project.

About Our Team
At Sea Glass Business Solutions, we believe that great results come from great collaboration. While I lead the core of our services and have experience in each field of services I offer, I also partner with a trusted network of skilled professionals I’ve worked with over the years. These experts—ranging from designers and developers to HR specialists and bookkeepers — are brought in on an as-needed basis to ensure every client receives high-quality, specialized support. This approach allows us to remain flexible and efficient while still delivering the depth of expertise your business deserves.
Excellence first, enriched by diverse perspectives.
At Sea Glass Business Solutions, LLC, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are fundamental to our mission. These buzz words are often overwhelming, incorrectly used, or slapped on to a website as a "blanket statement" to meet needs, so we feel it's important to share some statements that clarify what this means to us.
I believe that every person on our team must first be highly qualified for the work at hand.
I believe that our work is strengthened through the lenses of a wide range of lived experiences, differing cultures, and unique perspectives but must remain mission aligned.
Who you bring to the table is just as important as why you are there.
